The digital ecosystem has created a set of opportunities has changed the landscape of business schools. New media, the disappearance of the barriers, the proliferation of new platforms and the consolidation of mobile phones have to change the dynamics of executive education.
The digitization has impacted on two levels. At one level, business schools are those that have 2.0 decided to design a digital communication strategy based on social media and Web 2.0 in order to listen to the public, engage students and teachers and influence the public sphere.
It aims to improve visibility by connecting students, teachers, administration staff and other stakeholders, assign digital spaces for conversation, encourage participation and position as a school tailored to the new competitive environment. All major business schools have created a social media strategy by creating a digital identity and a more or less regular activity on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other similar environments.
